Canine Pancreatitis Antigen
Pancreas-specific lipase rises with pancreatic inflammation. A positive antigen result supports pancreatitis; it does not replace examination of a severely ill dog.

When to test
Test a dog with vomiting, cranial abdominal pain, anorexia or diarrhea when pancreatitis is plausible. Severe cases still need fluids, pain control and imaging as the clinical course requires.
